Klépierre’s Real Estate & Project Management corporate team develops strategy and provides operational support to all shopping centers in the areas of maintenance investment (support, validation & follow-up), compliance (structural & technical installations of a shopping center building), sustainability (energy, water & waste consumption, but also carbon footprint & certification) and development (design and execution follow-up of development projects).

DESCRIPTION :

The Buildings Performance & Compliance Intern will work directly with the Group Buildings & Project Management Director and the Engineering & Compliance Manager.

The Intern may be travelling to the different territories of the group to better understand the technical fundamentals of a shopping center, technical compliance and facility management, always accompanied by a HQ team representative(s).

Missions will focus on but won’t be limited to: 

  Building Performance & Data Analysis

• Collect, consolidate and analyze technical and buildings performance data across selected countries & assets 
• Help develop & update dashboards and performance indicators to better monitor buildings performance and compliance.
• Identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for operational improvement based on available data.  
• Contribute to technical benchmarking practices amongst shopping centers and countries 

Engineering Compliance: Local & Internal engineering regulations 

• Assist in the deployment of the Corporate’s new compliance processes .
• Support engineering teams on the deployment if needed and understand each country’s specifications and special cases 

   Digitalization & Process Improvement 

• Support the improvement of technical data declaration and collection
• Contribute to the definition, implementation, testing and documentation of practical digital solutions for engineering teams. 
• Explore simple AI-based approaches to support reporting, training or recurring engineering tasks. 

Collaboration and Contribution to Cross-functional Operational and Strategic Projects

• Help create synergies between various business application tools.

REQUIRED PROFILE :

Education

• 5th year Engineering (Final or Gap Year internship) 
• Or Master 2 Student (Final or Gap Year internship) 
• Or Master 1 Student

Knowledge and Technical Skills

• Advanced English (B2); knowledge of additional languages is a plus;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Power BI, and project management tools;
• Strong interest in data and digital tools;
• Knowledge of European equipment and safety standards and regulations;
• Familiarity with building technical systems;
• Experience with Computer-Aided Safety and Maintenance Management (CASM & CMMS).

Skills

• Knowledge in technical installations of a building.
• Mastery of the Office pack: Excel (expert level), Powerpoint (intermediate) and Power BI (beginner).

• Agility and the ability to summarize complex topics;
• Proactive and forward-thinking mindset;
• Teamwork skills and ability to coordinate a network;
• Autonomy and rigor to ensure full compliance;
• Good listening skills to understand field teams' concerns and needs.

Possible work travel to the shopping centers or HQ in the different countries of the portfolio.
