ABOUT THE EUROPE & INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS UNIT AND ITS STRATEGY TEAM
- The Europe & International Business Unit is Curium largest division, bringing together 2,000+ employees. The Business Unit oversees sales, operations, partnerships and developments across Europe, the Middle East, and the Rest of the World (excluding North America).
- The Strategy team’s role is to support the BU in delivering its ambitious growth plan. The team leads and supports the BU’s broad range of high‑impact initiatives including: new product launches, portfolio expansion, acquisitions, integrations, organizational redesign, partnerships and other transformative projects.
- The team is composed of 4-5 former top‑tier strategy consultants (BCG, Bain, Roland Berger) and private equity professionals. It operates in a fast‑paced, intellectually rigorous, and highly collaborative environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INTERN
As a full member of the Strategy team, you will act as a junior analyst in a dynamic, high‑learning environment with daily mentorship from former top‑tier consultants:
- Support strategic analyses and problem‑solving, helping structure insights that guide major decisions across the Business Unit.
- Contribute to diverse projects, from market assessments and business cases to integrations, commercial initiatives, and operational transformation.
- Turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations, preparing slides, models, and executive materials for BU leadership (CEO, Country Heads).
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams (Commercial, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Medical) to gather insights, challenge assumptions, and test hypotheses.
PREFERRED PROFILE
- Top engineering or business school
- First experience ideally in consulting, financial services or within a large corporate, with Curium experience being typically a 2nd part of a gap year or a graduating internship
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluent in English and advanced French level
