At Shift Technology, the UX product team works on a wide range of subjects and plays a key role in the development of our suite of products, including fraud detection, anti-money laundering, and claim automation. We bring strong technical expertise in data science, data engineering, coding, business understanding, and client interactions. Additionally, we work with diverse data types, such as structured data, free text, documents, and images.
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and creative UX Designer Intern to join our UX team for a 6-month internship. You will work within the UX team and closely with developers and product managers. You will participate in the design of cutting-edge AI products for the insurance industry. You will use UX research methods and design methods to ensure the best user experience of Shift Technology's products.
What You’ll Do…
- Participate in conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and visual designs to communicate design ideas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and user needs
- Analyze user feedback and data to iterate and improve designs
- Support the design team in maintaining and evolving our design system and style guides
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field and able to provide an internship agreement
- Solid understanding of UX design principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluent in English
