We are looking for a talented freelance Visual Merchandising & Retail Designer to support our creative team on a temporary project focused on permanent merchandising and trade activations across multiple international retailers.

Mission Overview:

• 
  

  Support the development and adaptation of creative concepts for various retail projects, including permanent VM rollouts, planograms, trade events, and brand activations.

  
  


• 
  

  Translate and adapt existing global designs to a variety of retail fixture formats (e.g., Douglas, Globus).

  
  


• 
  

  Provide creative and technical solutions in line with brand guidelines and global creative direction.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage project deliverables from concept to execution, including 2D design adaptation, preparation of final artwork files, and follow-up with external partners and vendors.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (creative, commercial, and project teams) to ensure timely and high-quality execution of all materials.

  
  

Profile:

• 
  

  Degree in Graphic Design or Industrial Design with strong experience in graphic production.

  
  


• 
  

  3+ years of experience in in-store or retail design.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, and V-Ray.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong skills in planogramming and 2D design.

  
  


• 
  

  Deep knowledge of print production, file preparation, color management, vector vs. raster graphics, and production specs.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high level of detail and autonomy.

  
  


• 
  

  Clear communication skills and the ability to receive and integrate constructive feedback.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams while maintaining creative consistency.

  Work mode: Remote with some presence recommended at our Düsseldorf office (approx. 3 days/week)
