Project Controller (m/w/d)

About the Role:

• Planning and forecast coordination: Preparation and consolidation of planning documents, forecasts, budget planning, and forecast updates


• Project controlling: Ongoing monitoring of project KPIs, including target–actual comparisons, risk assessment, and support during project start, progress, and closing meetings


• Reporting: Preparation of regular reports on performance, order backlog, earnings development, as well as ad‑hoc evaluations and KPI analyses


• Interface management: Collaboration with project management, department management and central controlling, as well as coordination with adjacent specialist departments


• Tool‑based analyses: Use and further development of existing controlling and reporting systems, as well as support of BI projects


• Support in the proposal process: Especially in commercial evaluations, approval processes, and calculation reviews


• Employee training and knowledge transfer: Training employees on internal tools and controlling standards


• Continuous improvement: Ongoing enhancement and expansion of existing reporting systems to increase efficiency and transparency


• Support for management: Administrative and organizational support for executive management and department leadership

About You:

• Degree in economics, civil engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification with relevant further training


• Several years of professional experience in project controlling, ideally in the construction industry


• Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)


• Systematic, independent working style and strong IT affinity (ERP systems, Excel, and potentially internal controlling tools)


• Experience with calculation and controlling software (e.g., iTWO, SAP, BI tools)


• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written


• Strong numerical affinity, analytical thinking skills, and independent working approach


• Team orientation, strong communication skills, and a structured, solution‑focused working style


• Ability to work under pressure and flexibility in handling several parallel projects
