With over 50 million users worldwide, we are expanding rapidly and looking for a freelance Brazilian Portuguese SEO translator to assist with our global expansion efforts.

Overview of the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented freelance translator to support our International Growth Team from Germany or the Netherlands (remotely). In this role, you will translate and adapt content with linguistic accuracy and cultural nuance, helping us connect with local audiences and expand our global reach. 

Responsibilities

• Translate product pages: Adapt product-related content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and relevance for the local market.


• Translate ads: Localize marketing copy for digital ads while preserving tone, intent, and performance impact.


• Translate microcopy (e.g., tool copy): Translate short UI/UX text such as buttons, tooltips, and labels with precision and user experience in mind.


• Translate FAQs: Localize support materials to ensure users easily understand and navigate solutions.


• Translate other web content: Adapt a range of additional online materials as needed, maintaining consistency and brand voice across all assets.

Qualifications

• Strong command of Brazilian Portuguese grammar and language


• Professional proficiency in English


• Hands-on experience with translation


• Thrives in fast-paced, international environment


• Strong eye for detail


• Strong communication skills


• Based in the Netherlands or Germany (remote)


• Available for 10 hours per week


• Plus: degree in Linguistics or Translation


• Plus: experience in SEO, copywriting, or writing for the web


• Plus: already registered as a contractor (e.g., valid KvK number in the Netherlands or VAT number in Germany)


• Plus: affinity with AI writing tools
