We are currently seeking a dedicated Secondary Biology Teacher to join an international school in Munich, where they will inspire students across this age range and contribute to a vibrant academic community.  The secondary programme serves students aged 11–18 and is structured around Key Stage 3, Cambridge IGCSE, and the IB Diploma. A solid understanding of the British curriculum is essential, while prior experience with the IB is advantageous though not mandatory.

The ideal candidate



  • Relevant Degree — Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Science Education, or a closely related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.

  • Teaching Certification — Recognized teaching qualification/licensure, ideally aligned with the British curriculum.

  • Curriculum Knowledge — Strong familiarity with Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and IB Diploma programmes; prior IB teaching experience preferred but not essential.

  • Classroom Experience — Proven track record teaching Biology at secondary level, with the ability to engage and inspire students aged 11–18.

  • Passion for Science — Enthusiasm for Biology and the wider sciences, with the ability to integrate cross‑disciplinary approaches.
