Join the CoRe Team and be a part of crafting the theme worlds on Tchibo e-commerce platform ! We are the content creation wizards and the masterminds behind Tchibo's runtime integration framework for micro frontends.
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the full software development cycle - from gathering requirements to designing, developing, to testing, and releasing on a daily basis. Furthermore, we use state-of-art technologies, so you'll never stop growing and improving your professional skills.

• As a Full Stack Developer in our CoRe team, you and your team are responsible for building, running, enhancing and maintaining our biggest customer touchpoints: Tchibo's home and theme world content pages. You'll be at the forefront of shaping user experience .
• Develop end-to-end microservices with a full technology stack (frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD), write clean and high-quality code on a daily basis.
• Ensure a high standard of quality by doing code reviews , pair programming , TDD , instant feedback loops and using best practices (e.g. style guidelines, testing, security, performance, and resilience).
• Work and learn together with experienced software engineers from other development teams.
• During each iteration, you will have dedicated creative time to work on projects you are interested in.

Your profile: You keep discovering with us.

• You have a successfully completed degree in computer science/business informatics or have a comparable qualification .
• You have at least 2 years practical experience in software development , for example through private or freelance projects, and bring a passion for new technologies .
• You are a true team player and are keen to play a role in cross-functional teams , always working together in an agile way ( SCRUM/KANBAN ).

Minimum qualifications:

• You have in-depth knowledge of one or more modern programming language (e.g. Kotlin, Go, Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python).
• Also you have gained experience with database internals, knowledge of how to write SQL scripts, reporting, and data analytics.
• Furthermore you are familiar with Git, DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, and automation (CI/CD) .
• Your knowledge of web development sets you apart.

Preferred qualifications:

• Ideally you are experienced in developing web applications with Nuxt 3 / Vite and Vue.js would be a plus.
• Spring Boot knowledge, especially in combination with Kotlin , is part of your skillset.
• You are familiar with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform ( GCP ) and their products like ( CloudSQL , Pub/Sub , and GKE ).
• You are confident in writing and speaking in English.
