Account Director (d/f/m)

Jung von Matt SPREE is looking for an Account Director (d/f/m).

As the ideal Account Director (d/f/m), you are both strategist and relationship builder. You maintain a firm grasp of the saddle, demonstrate a deep understanding of customers, markets and brands and know how to successfully steer a large, complex brand through fast-changing communication environments. You combine an entrepreneurial mindset with creative excellence and operational clarity.

Your tasks:

•    Advises clients on strategic, creative, and business decisions.

•    Identifies opportunities for account growth.

•    Takes full responsibility for projects and overall account performance.

•    Manages budgeting, forecasting and profitability.

•    Leads scope, contract and pricing negotiations.

•    Responsible for training, developing and mentoring the account team.

•    Identifies talent within the team and supports career development.

•    Ensures efficient workflows, resource planning and performance standards.

•    Provides final oversight and approval for deliverables, presentations and strategic work.

•    Provides hands-on operational leadership for day-to-day operations, stepping in where needed to ensure timely execution, clear ownership and cross-functional alignment.

•    Manages escalations and ensures smooth day-to-day operations.

•    Maintains an effective flow of information to the Client Service Director / Management.

•    Ensures integrated communication and alignment across all disciplines.

•    Native German speaker with fluent English skills required.
