WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The unit Accounts Payable & Freight Cost Management provides professional invoice management for all affiliated European BASF Group companies and is actively involved in the creation of an optimized accounts payable process chain in close cooperation with the purchasing and local finance departments. 

• You are responsible for complex accounting tasks for BASF Group companies, including invoice verification, invoice posting, and account reconciliation.


• You drive the automation of posting processes in SAP and analyze and correct automatically posted invoices when necessary.


• In close collaboration with BASF's Procurement and Finance departments, you actively contribute to the optimization of the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process chain.


• Furthermore, you initiate improvement measures for the entire team and support project-related activities.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• successfully completed commercial vocational training or a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field


• experience in invoice verification, accounts payable, and accounting processes


• fluent German language skills and good command of English

WHAT WE OFFER

• Gross annual salary (full-time): 40.000 - 46.000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience - In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success
