Your role
They are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to support their Berlin team. In this role, you will be responsible for correct and timely accounting and support management with accurate financial information.
Your Tasks:
- Management of current accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting.
- Preparation and dispatch of invoices as well as monitoring of the dunning process.
- Preparation and execution of payment transactions.
- Cooperation with the tax advisor, in particular in the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
- Collaboration in budget planning and control.
- Use of Moss accounting software for various financial processes.
- Preparation of advance VAT returns and assistance for the tax consultant.
- Documentation and optimization of accounting processes.
Your Profile:
- Completed commercial training or a degree in finance/accounting.
- Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in a startup environment.
- Sound knowledge of accounting software and MS Office, and experience with Moss is an advantage.
- Careful, independent, and structured way of working.
- Ability to work in a team and high reliability.
- Very good written and spoken German.
