Advanced Quality Prevention & Global Quality Response Manager (m/f/d)

The following challenges await you:

• In your role as "Advanced Quality Prevention & Global Quality Response Manager (m/f/d)" you drive proactive quality excellence across the Heraeus Product Development Process by preventing quality risks before product launch and leading global cross-functional task forces to resolve critical quality issues with significant business impact.


• You own and continuously improve the global preventive quality framework within the Heraeus Product Development Process, including FMEA, Design Reviews, Risk Management, Quality Gates, and Lessons Learned.


• In addition, you ensure early identification, assessment, and mitigation of quality risks across all development projects and support risk-based decision making at key project milestones.


• You act as the corporate subject matter expert for Project Quality, influencing strategic products, technology, and investment decisions through independent quality risk assessments.


• Moreover you lead global Quality Tiger Teams to resolve critical quality issues, customer escalations, and systemic quality risks across all Heraeus Electronics sites.


• You drive enterprise-wide quality capability development, standardization, and continuous improvement to strengthen quality performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Your Profile:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a comparable technical discipline


• PhD and/or MBA considered a strong advantage for leadership in complex, innovation-driven, global business environments


• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Quality Management, Project Quality, Product Development, Manufacturing Quality, or related technical functions within a global industrial environment


• Proven experience leading cross-functional and international initiatives, including preventive quality programs, complex technology development projects, global quality task forces and management of high-impact customer or operational escalations


• Solid understanding of product development, industrialization, and manufacturing processes


• Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016


• Advanced expertise in preventive quality methods, including FMEA, risk management, quality planning, and quality assurance throughout the product development lifecycle


• Strong experience in quality problem solving, root cause analysis, and leading complex quality improvement and escalation activities in a global manufacturing environment
