Arbeitsbeschreibung - AI/DL Engineer Robot Learning (m/f/d)

The AI team at Agile Robots is looking for a dedicated AI/DL Engineer (m/f/d) specializing in Robotics. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in applying deep learning technologies to robotic manipulators, particularly in the areas of Imitation Learning, Behavior Cloning, etc.

Develop end-to-end robotic learning approaches using imitation learning.
Design robotics experiments and conduct scientific evaluations of results.
Develop and implement robot policies that are vision and language conditioned.
Work closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment to prototype, iterate, and deploy robotic solutions for real-world applications.
Stay updated on significant changes and trends in robot learning.
Collaborate closely with the Robotics team to design and implement AI-driven solutions.
Travel might be required for deployments (approximately up to 30% of the worktime).

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in AI, DL, and/or Robotics.
Solid Python skills.
Knowledge of machine learning for robotics research, for example, able to understand large models like, RT-1, RT-2, RT-X.
Experience in robotic manipulation.
Experience using ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Master's degree in computer science, Robotics, AI, or a related field.

Experience in developing and maintaining robot software systems.
Robotics perception skills (e.g., object pose estimation, segmentation, flow and depth prediction, tracking, SLAM), with experience in DL for perception being helpful.
Experience with different robotic sensors (tactile, force)
Prior experience of applying ML methods in the context of robotics.
Publications in reputable scientific journals or conferences related to Robotics, ML, CV, etc.
