We are currently looking for analysts to join and support the FalkenSteg team in our corporate-finance operations.

You will be part of small project teams with flat hierarchies, where you will be given close guidance by our experienced partners
You will experience a steep learning curve with significant deal exposure
You will work pragmatically with a solution-centric approach in line with the hands-on mentality we uphold
You will strengthen and expand your skills in M&A project management, investor communication, business valuation, due diligence, finance, insolvency law and restructuring in a project environment spanning various industries
Assisting with project management in the context of M&A transactions
Conducting market, company and financial analyses
Creating marketing materials related to pitches and transactions
Preparing for and attending meetings with investors
Assisting with and managing due-diligence processes
Working on internal company development projects
Degree from a higher-education institution with above-average results in economic/legal studies or a comparable programme (minimum requirement: bachelor’s, master’s or formal course of training to be a business professional preferred)
Previous experience from relevant work placements or initial work experience in corporate finance, restructuring, finance, financial and management accounting; or business development
Entrepreneurial mindset (ideally, you already have experience as an Entrepreneur)
Keen interest in business transactions and sound knowledge of accounting and business valuation
Analytical and structured approach to work
Team player, self-directed, confident disposition, flexible and willing to travel
Commitment to excellence by producing precise work
Fluent in written and spoken English and German (additional foreign language skills advantageous)
Deep project involvement – as a full-fledged team member from day one, you will be part of M&A transactions from client acquisition to closing
Challenging tasks – you will work across disciplines on specific project priorities while always keeping sight of the big picture: the M&A transaction at hand
Personal responsibility – take responsibility for projects and sub-projects while beginning to gain leadership experience
Personal support/direct communication – we will assign you a mentor from day one, with our direct feedback culture ensuring that you benefit from the best possible personal development
Expanding your network – you will have the opportunity to build and maintain valuable relationships with all the stakeholders involved in our M&A transactions
