Tasks & responsibilities

• As the analytical method lead, you will define and drive the scientific strategy by independently planning all analytical work packages, including method development, and optimization for both established and novel analytical technologies.


• You will design and implement robust analytical methods for biopharmaceutical development programs, using scientific literature and technical expertise to plan and execute complex, innovative analytical approaches.


• Moreover, you will critically assess scientific data and generate clear reports 


• You will ensure timely, high‑quality analytical results by overseeing the planning, development, execution, and evaluation of advanced methods for product characterization and quality control.


• Furthermore, you will mentor and support laboratory staff, strengthen scientific capabilities, and contribute to method‑related training and continuous improvement initiatives.


• You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners and support lab leadership in coordinating analytical activities and contributing to regulatory submissions for biopharmaceutical development projects.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in biochemistry, biology, biopharmacy, chemistry or a related field, combined with several years of proven experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry


• Solid background and proven experience in drug development, including preparation of submission-relevant documentation


• Deep expertise in  cellular imaging, including method development, troubleshooting, and advanced interpretation of complex visual data


• Extensive hands on experience with visualization, quantification and processing of imaging datasets, as well as the proficient use and optimization of specialized imaging analysis software 


• Solid expertise in cell-based assay development for potency determination of NBEs and working knowledge of Design of Experiment (DoE)


• Experience in semi-automated assay development is an advantage
