Your tasks and responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled full-time Backend Software Engineer to maintain, enhance, and extend our REST-like web server built with Java.
You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our backend systems while collaborating closely with front-end developers and product teams.
Design, develop, and document new backend features and services.
Optimize server performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with front-end applications and third-party APIs.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and robustness.
Participate in code reviews, propose technical improvements, and follow best practices in API design and security.

Your profile

Strong proficiency in Java.
Solid understanding of RESTful API principles and HTTP protocols.
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
Experience with Git and Maven.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative environment
