Qualifications:
· Associate degree in biomedical equipment technology or 3 years of relevant experience.
· Proficiency in English for effective communication.
· Understanding of electronics, regulations, and technical data interpretation.
· Maintenance, repair, and testing of biomedical equipment, problem-solving, and computer skills.
· Moderate physical effort, color vision test passing, and ability to work in various environments.
Duties:
· Perform scheduled and unscheduled services, including inspections, maintenance, repairs, and testing of medical equipment.
· Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment updates.
· Inspect and test malfunctioning equipment, disassemble, repair, and replace defective parts.
· Conduct preventive maintenance and service as per manufacturer specifications.
· Test, evaluate, and classify medical equipment for serviceability and disposition.
· Ensure proper use of equipment to protect patients and staff from hazards.
· Stay updated through technical manuals and training sessions.
