For our office directly at the IZB Campus in Munich/Martinsried we are looking for a BTA/CTA Bioprocessing (m/f/d) who will support our team and wants to make a difference in the world.

For this position you will perform the following duties:

Work together in a fun-loving international team
As a starter or someone with limited experience have great personal growth opportunities
Accurately plan, prepare and execute fermentation experiments, using our bioreactors at different scales (up to 10L) according to our procedures
Support process development with optimizing the Down Stream Process settings by running small scale experiments (<2 L)
Analyze and report the findings accurately
Trouble shoot practical issues.
Optimize workflows in the laboratory for enhanced efficiency.
Last but not least, work safely

Your profile:

A completed vocational training in BTA/CTA/PTA/UTA and have experience as a chemistry/biology laboratory technician
Exhibit a strong passion for conducting practical laboratory procedures. You must love the lab work!
Bioreactor/Fermentation experience (any scale) required
Possess a good technical understanding and basic knowledge of biotechnology
Work independently while thriving in a team environment, bringing reliability to the table
Proficient in English
Proficient in MS Office
The position includes routine responsibilities that require focus, precision, and a steady approach—perfect for those who value consistency and take pride in doing things right

General Data

Location: Munich/Martinsried (IZB Campus), approx. 30 min. from Munich main train station (HBF)
Scope: 40 hours/week
Start: possible immediately
