Business Analyst (AI / Chatbots)

About the Project

For one of our ongoing projects, we are looking for a German-speaking Business Analyst to join the team and support the development and continuous improvement of an AI-powered FAQ chatbot for the banking sector.

The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, development teams, and financial institutions to ensure the chatbot delivers accurate, relevant, and high-quality user experiences while meeting regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for the AI-powered FAQ chatbot.


• Create and maintain business requirement documents, use cases, and user stories.


• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and banking clients to ensure the availability, accuracy, and consistency of chatbot content managed through the CMS.


• Monitor chatbot interactions and analyze user behavior to identify opportunities for improvement.


• Collaborate closely with the development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.


• Support the implementation and integration of the chatbot across banking websites.


• Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the chatbot's functionality, reliability, and performance.


• Analyze user feedback and continuously improve the chatbot's user experience.


• Develop strategies to optimize response quality, accuracy, and personalization based on user preferences (e.g., response length, level of detail, language).


• Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.


• Prepare project status updates, reports, and documentation.


• Support release planning and deployment activities while ensuring compliance with financial industry regulations and governance requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.


• Fluent German (mandatory).


• Good command of English.


• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.


• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and use cases.


• Experience collaborating with both business stakeholders and technical teams.


• Strong analytical and communication skills.


• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) solutions is mandatory.


• Understanding of AI-powered chatbots, conversational interfaces, or LLM-based applications.


• Experience with content management and chatbot optimization is considered an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry.


• Experience working with CMS platforms.


• Familiarity with AI chatbot implementation and release management in regulated environments.
