Business Analyst (BSA) R2R Process (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Business System Analyst (BSA) – R2R Process to support and optimize the Record-to-Report (R2R) domain across REPA’s evolving enterprise application landscape.

The role will operate within a complex multi-ERP environment, including systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV, AS400-based applications, Sage X3, and future enterprise ERP platforms, while collaborating closely with integration, data, and reporting teams.

As part of the IT Enterprise Applications / Enterprise Architecture function, this role acts as a bridge between Finance, Business, and IT, ensuring scalable and harmonized R2R processes, consistent financial data flows, and effective support of transformation initiatives.

This is a business process and systems-focused role, rather than a purely technical or operational accounting position.

Process Analysis & Optimization

• Analyze current R2R processes and identify opportunities for process harmonization and optimization across multiple ERP systems
• Support improvements related to:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Financial closing
  • Reconciliation processes
  • Financial reporting and compliance
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to streamline month-end and year-end activities

Enterprise Systems & Integration

• Support and document R2R-related integrations between:
  • ERP systems (NAV, Sage X3, AS400-based applications, future ERP platforms)
  • Reporting and analytics platforms
  • Data and integration layers such as Microsoft Fabric and Boomi
• Ensure consistency and integrity of financial master and transactional data across systems
• Assist in analyzing impacts of system and process changes across the enterprise landscape

Requirement Gathering & Documentation

• Gather and document business requirements for R2R processes and reporting needs
• Create and maintain:
  • Functional specifications
  • Process documentation
  • Test scenarios
  • Business process flows
  • Knowledge base documentation
• Support creation of standardized process and system documentation at group level

Testing & Business Support

• Coordinate and execute functional and integration testing for R2R-related initiatives
• Develop test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
• Act as liaison between Finance users, IT teams, external vendors, and implementation partners
• Support issue analysis and resolution during project and hypercare phases

Transformation & Continuous Improvement

• Support ERP transformation and modernization initiatives impacting Finance and R2R processes
• Contribute to process standardization across countries and business units
• Collaborating with Enterprise Architecture and IT teams on future-state process and system design
• Support adoption of scalable and harmonized business solutions across the REPA landscape

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Support KPI monitoring related to financial closing, reconciliation, and reporting quality
• Assist in analyzing financial data flows and reporting consistency across systems
• Collaborate with reporting and data teams to improve data quality and transparency

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Informatics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business System Analyst in ERP-driven environments
• Experience working with R2R processes across ERP systems such as:
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Sage
  • SAP or similar ERP platforms
• Understanding of finance processes including:
  • GL
  • Financial reporting
  • Reconciliation
  • Closing activities
• Experience working in multi-system or transformation environments is an advantage
• Familiarity with integration and data platforms (e.g., Boomi, Microsoft Fabric, reporting tools) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively between business and IT teams

Languages & Location:

• English: Business fluent (mandatory)
• German, Italian, Spanish, French and other EU languages advantageous
• Willingness for on-site presence in Bergkirchen as required
• Availability to travel occasionally within Europe if needed
