This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager - REMOTE. This critical role is focused on enhancing market presence in the automotive sector and delivering insights that shape strategic decisions. The manager will collaborate closely with OEMs and the automotive team, overseeing product launches and managing key approval processes. This role requires a combination of business acumen, technical knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills, contributing significantly to the business's growth in high-performance polymers.

Accountabilities

    • Lead OEM penetration efforts to identify and develop growth opportunities in high-performance polymers.
    • Implement a networking strategy to create new sales avenues through OEM partnerships.
    • Conduct market analysis to discern trends and initiate profitable growth projects.
    • Oversee budgetary planning and market analysis for new products.
    • Coordinate the launch process for new technologies at OEMs.
    • Assist in long-term strategic planning based on market developments.
    • Collaborate with relevant global industry teams.
    • Support long-cycle automotive programs from development through launch and management.

Requirements

    • Technical Master’s Degree or equivalent experience, with 5 to 10 years in the industry.
    • MBA preferred; strong business acumen is also valuable.
    • Strong understanding of financial and marketing strategies for project evaluation.
    • Demonstrated business development experience with customer engagement.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills for thriving in a multicultural environment.
    • Established network within the North American automotive OEMs.
    • Proven communication skills; proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong technical background to engage in discussions with customers.
    • Business fluency in Spanish is a plus.
