Arbeitsbeschreibung - Business Development Partner (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Business Development Partner to forge partnerships with new customers, delivering data, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to a broad customer base beyond the Lufthansa Group

About the Role

If you are passionate about using data to solve real-world challenges and find purpose in building customer relationships that unlock new business opportunities and build real customer value, then at zeroG, you’ll work with a dynamic, inclusive team to build significant partnerships and deliver innovative data and AI solutions across airlines, airports, shipping companies, and beyond.

In this role you'll focus on winning client engagements, understanding customer needs, cultivating customer relationships, customizing services and collaborating closely with our technical experts to build impactful data and AI solutions.

What Work Will You Do? 

  • Develop strategies to deepen customer relationships and foster new engagements by combining business knowledge, interpersonal skills, and data expertise 
  • Tap new business potential by identifying customers, craft attractive offers based on zeroG’s data and AI services, cultivate meaningful engagements, and grow zeroG’s impact in aviation.
  • Lead customer engagements from initial contact, offer customization, proposal writing to closed deals, collaborating with internal experts and external partners
  • Leverage sales skills, such as negotiation, data storytelling, and value proposition design to drive business development
  • Craft proposals that convince business managers and procurement departments through clear budget plans and business cases for our services
  • Align potential projects with zeroG’s strategic vision to deliver high-impact solutions that drive tangible value while staying at the forefront of industry trends and technologies 
  • Proven track record in confidently closing large (6-digit) deals within the data and AI services and solution development space, preferably within the airline or broader aviation industry 
  • Accomplished path of developing and running an effective sales organization teams and business development pipeline with growing business engagements 
  • A consistent record of successfully scaling organizations and driving significant revenue growth 
  • Strong inter-personal skills to inspire, influence, and guide cross-functional teams through complex business challenges.
  • Expertise in connecting with and influencing diverse audiences, including technical experts, business executives, and procurement
  • Willingness to travel
  • Advanced proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • A strong network within the aviation or travel industry 
  • Aviation experience or knowledge of the aviation market
  • Logistics and supply chain experience
  • Ability to mock / rapidly prototype AI demonstrations using e.g. Generative AI, computer vision, natural language processing Is a big plus.
