As our Market Access Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our global market access strategy, ensuring seamless market entry and directly contributing to our growth and success. Develop a comprehensive overview and continuously execute all necessary tasks to ensure Convex maintains a strong presence in existing energy trading markets.
Manage and optimize product and user administration, including trader access levels on energy exchanges and other market access platforms.
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Convex, including the Trading, Legal, Operations, Finance, Risk and IT departments.
Continuously analyze external reporting and compliance requirements for every market in which Convex is active.
Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers at various energy trading exchanges and market platforms.
Lead and streamline the end-to-end process of entering new markets; i.e. analyze requirements, secure trading permits, onboard local TSOs (Transmission System Operators) and exchanges, etc.
Oversee relevant contractual arrangements and ensure their high-quality execution.

Master’s degree in business administration, economics, energy management, law, international business or a related field.
2-3 years of experience with business development, project management and stakeholder management.
Proven experience in a similar position in the energy industry is considered a strong plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with keen attention to detail while maintaining a professional and mature approach.
A team player mindset combined with target group-oriented communication, strong organizational skills and a commitment to reliable, high-quality work aimed at achieving operational excellence.
Skilled in setting up and optimizing workflows, embracing technology, and possessing a genuine eagerness to learn.
Confidence in negotiations and quick decision-making under stress, and responsibility with time management.
Passionate about learning new skills and taking on challenges.
Fluent in English is required; German is considered a plus.
