Arbeitsbeschreibung - Calculation Engineer (m/f/d)

We are a German subsidiary of the American Eaton Corporation. Within the Eaton Group, we specialize in the manufacture of filter systems and pressure vessels. In Europe, we are represented with numerous sales, service and production locations to provide our customers with the best possible service for our high-quality products.

For our location in Nettersheim (near Cologne/Bonn in Germany), we are looking for a Calculation Engineer for our engineering department. In this role you calculate and create the computational strength verification of all pressure-bearing parts of pressure vessels according to the codes AD-2000, EN13445, ASME and various standards.

What you’ll do:

• Creation of calculation documents according to the Codes and Standards for customer and third party approvals

• Coordinate Design and/or Material changes with Design Department, SCM, third parties and customers

• Perform pre-Sales calculations and create drafts for Sales quotation work

• Manage all CE-Stamped technical documents with third parties

• Lead Projects in cross-functional teams

• Support in Continuous Improvement activities

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree in mechanical, mechatronics, chemical or similar engineering

• Practice experience with pressure vessel codes (AD-2000, EN-13445 and ASME)

• Computer engineering skills (CAD/CFD/FEA, etc.)

• Experience with Tools like Mathcad, PV-Elite, DIMy

• Hands-on-mentality, good presentation skills

• Fluent in German and English
