To strengthen our HSE management, we are looking for a CE-CONFORMITY AND HEALTH & SAFETY EXPERT (m/f/d).

You will take responsibility of the following activities:

CE conformity and plant safety:

• Responsibility for the preparation and maintenance of risk assessments, together with different departments


• Implementation and coordination of HAZOP studies as well as advice to departments on safety-relevant topics


• Ensuring conformity with EU directives and international standards, including derivation of design changes


• Preparation and management of technical documentation, declarations of conformity as well as organization of CE labels


• Testing of safety-relevant components and systems (incl. SIL and PL classification)

Occupational safety (HSE):

• Preparation of risk assessments for the workplace (construction sites, office, etc.) and definition of measures and safety guidelines for risk minimization and accident prevention


• Emergency management incl. preparation of special evacuation plans, first aid concepts and crisis responses


• Carrying out inspections and audits


• Optimization of processes and regular updating of standards for product and operational safety in accordance with current laws and standards


• Employee briefings and training on safety and health topics

Required profile:

• Completed studies in e.g. mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering, safety engineering or completed vocational training with relevant professional experience


• Several years of experience in plant engineering and in-depth knowledge of EU directives (Machinery and Pressure Equipment Directive, ATEX, EMV) as well as in technical documentation and risk assessment of complex plants


• Analytical thinking as well as structured and detailed work


• Strong communication skills and ability to advise interdisciplinary teams


• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
