ExOne is the global leader in binder jet 3D printing technology. Industrial customers use our technology to save time and money, reduce waste, improve their manufacturing flexibility and deliver designs and products that were impossible with traditional manufacturing processes. ExOne has been a subsidiary of Desktop Metal (DM) since 2021. DM offers a portfolio of integrated additive manufacturing solutions for engineers, designers and manufacturers, consisting of hardware, software, materials and services. Our solutions span the entire product lifecycle and address a wide range of industries. Our aim is to extend our technological lead and further consolidate our market position. We are looking for a  full-time position as soon as possible:

Channel Sales Manager for the EMEA region (m/f/d) 

You live in Germany, the Netherlands or the UK and work from a home office.
 Reliable internet and good travel connections are required.

The Department:

In your area, you are the contact to the existing representatives of Desktop Metal (DM) and continue to expand this network. You are responsible for and coordinate the distribution of Desktop Metal products and services via our representatives. 

Your Tasks:

  • Build productive, professional relationships with key personnel of assigned partners
  • Coordinate the deployment of Desktop Metal personnel, including support, service and management resources, to achieve partner performance goals and customer satisfaction
  • Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic goals in assigned partner accounts and regions
  • Leading a joint partner planning process for performance targets, financial targets and critical milestones
  • Continuous assessment, clarification and validation of partner needs
  • Sales via partner organizations to end consumers in coordination with the partners' sales resources
  • Managing potential sales channel conflicts with other sales channels through effective communication and compliance with sales channel rules
  • Manage lead distribution activities to multiple partners in the assigned region
  • Maintaining accurate sales forecast data and regular communication with management
  • Ensure that partners comply with partner agreements and programs
  • Representation of Desktop Metal at important industry events
  • Recruit/replace partners as needed to responsibly grow the overall business
  • Achievement of the assigned sales quota for the region and individual partner accounts
  • Maintaining high partner satisfaction levels
  • Your Profile:

  • Degree in business administration or similar
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in a technology-based B2B environment for capital goods
  • Ideally experience in the field of 3D printing/additive manufacturing 
  • Experience in sales at universities/research laboratories is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with high adaptability and resilience
  • Confident and adept at using various workplace technologies such as Slack, Zoom and navigating multiple computer platforms and applications
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages such as German are a plus
  • High degree of willingness to travel, within the assigned territory (75 % )
