Claim-Manager (m/w/d)

You have a keen eye for risks and a passion for negotiations. As a claim manager, you will take over the claims management, check and process claims and actively work towards fair solutions – be it with customers, suppliers or internal stakeholders.

• review and processing of claims and complaints arising from contractual and project business
• Holistic claims management and claims review
• Identification and assessment of potential risks and contract-related aspects in order to proactively manage them, as well as risk analysis and contract review
• Independent negotiation with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to clarify claims and achieve satisfactory solutions
• Careful documentation of all relevant processes and regular reporting to management
• Development and implementation of measures to optimize claims processing to minimize risks and optimize processes
• Close collaboration with the supply chain management, sales, finance, etc. departments

Education 

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or completed studies in the field of business administration, finance or similar

Experience

• First professional experience in claim management or in a similar position
• Good knowledge of contract law and experience in negotiating and resolving conflicts

Professional knowledge

• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems, e.g. SAP
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English

Soft skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Analytical thinking and structured way of working
