Arbeitsbeschreibung - Cloud Architect (English speaking)(M/F/D)

Are you a natural communicator? Can you break down complex topics and explain them in a succinct and clear manner? Do you know Azure inside and out and have proven it many times over? Do you want to expand your knowledge and, together with a dynamic team, help some of the largest and most exciting companies today?
At MobiLab, you will have the opportunity to build on your knowledge of Azure and make decisions that have a deep impact on the future of different companies and teams. You will be tasked to steer different Cloud-related efforts and contribute to continuing to cement MobiLab as the global leader in Cloud Integration.Support our Cloud Adoption team by:
  • Conducting customer workshops to analyze the on-premises infrastructure and guiding them to define their Cloud Adoption journey.
  • Creating detailed and robust architecture designs for Cloud landing zones for applications, data, and enterprise-wide topics.
  • Helping decide which Cloud processes, methodologies, and resources to use to overcome any given Cloud-related question.
  • Being on the frontline of Azure and staying up-to-date with new offerings and technologies.
  • Supporting our Cloud business analysts in cost and business case calculations.
  • Summarizing complex technical topics into business-ready presentations.
  • Engaging with IT executives from different industries to transform their organizations through the use of Cloud technologies.
At heart, you are a passionate team player who respects the opinions of his colleagues, as:
  • You have a technical background in either software development, infrastructure management, or system administration.
  • You have at least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Azure and implementing solutions on Azure.
  • You know at least one of the following IaC technologies: Terraform, Ansible, ARM Templates.
  • You have consulted different customers in the past about Azure and have the success stories to go along with it.
  • You have worked with enterprise-scale architectures in the past.
  • You know how to actively support your team in pre-sales activities in the context of presentations and complex customer demands/questions.
  • You have an eye for detail but think in the big picture.
  • You have business empathy to understand the economic impact of your proposed designs and/or decisions.
  • You are always looking for proof points to improve your designs as your knowledge grows.
  • You understand that communication is primarily about listening, and you excel at it, but you also understand that delivering solutions to a problem is key.
  • You understand the Cloud extremely well and, as such, are able to explain most concepts with a few sentences.
  • You have worked with Cloud Governance and understand a risk-management approach to governing the Cloud estate.
  • You excel at preparing error-free presentations, documenting and presenting your ideas to stakeholders (internal teams and customers).
  • You speak and write fluent English.
  • A plus but not a must: you speak German and have experience with other hyperscalers.
