We are looking for a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with expertise in both developing and deploying solutions for Kubernetes, as well as managing cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will take control of our infrastructure, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of our applications, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance. A key aspect of this role is automating as much of our processes as possible to enhance efficiency and reliability.Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architecture for both internal needs and customer solutions.
Oversee and maintain our cloud infrastructure on GCP, with the ability to extend to AWS or Azure as needed.
Collaborate with development teams and customers to streamline CI/CD pipelines and automate workflows.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
Monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and ensure the security of our infrastructure.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or similar.
Implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, and cost management.
Provide support and troubleshooting expertise for production environments.

Qualifications

Proven experience with Kubernetes, including development, deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
Strong background in managing cloud infrastructure, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with AWS or Azure is a plus.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi).
Proficiency in shell and Python scripting.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Github Actions, GitLab CI
Demonstrated experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and customers.
