Commercial Contract and Risk Manager (m/f/d)

What to expect:

• You will work closely with the sales team, senior management, and cross-functional stakeholders to draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of business agreements.


• You will serve as the regional point of contact for all contract-related inquiries.


• You will advise executives on potential risks in business agreements and provide clear recommendations to support informed decisions.


• You ensure that Excelitas’ business objectives and compliance requirements are upheld at all times.


• You are responsible for implementing and adhering to internal guidelines and processes for approving customer proposals.


• In addition, you develop and implement process improvements to make risk analysis and assessment within the company more efficient.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor of Laws or first state examination required; Master of Laws in law preferred.


• Minimum 5 years of commercial contracting and negotiating experience in a corporate legal department.


• Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles, risk assessment, and negotiation strategies.


• Experience with manufacturing and supply agreements; experience with development agreements is a plus.


• Ability to work independently, in a structured and results-oriented manner in a dynamic and complex environment, including the ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time and deadlines efficiently.


• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, multinational environment.


• Enjoyment of working in international teams and a strong team-oriented mindset.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Very good written and spoken German and English.
