Role Overview
 

Responsible for planning and managing all commissioning activities on data centre projects, ensuring systems are tested, validated, and handed over in line with design, standards, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning from design through testing (Levels 2–5) to handover

• Manage commissioning plans, schedules, and test procedures

• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and commissioning agents (CxA)

• Ensure systems perform as per design (BoD, SoO)

• Monitor QA/QC, site readiness, and commissioning progress

• Manage issues, risks, and track them to closure

• Chair commissioning meetings and report progress

• Support Early Access, Beneficial Use, and final handover to operations

Requirements

• ~10 years’ experience in commissioning or data centre environments

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, HVAC, switchgear)

• Experience with Level 2–5 testing and integrated systems

• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills

• Fluent German and English
