Job Title: Community Coordinator

Location: Buchel Air Base

Travel: N/A

Duties: 

• Provide services at the community center at Buchel Air Base.
• Ensure information about the local area is readily available
• Assist newcomer and family member during the first week of arrival
• Communicate with the Spangdahlem Airman & Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) as well as local tourist information centers to gather and disseminate literature and information on the local area to customers
• Ensure sponsorship and welcome packages for each sponsor and inbound member, ensuring that current information is provided to sponsors and families
• Organize, set up, and conduct newcomer’s orientation at least once every two months.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 (one) year experience in customer service-oriented tasks
• Must be familiar working with military families or community outreach programs
• Speak, read and write English fluently
