Arbeitsbeschreibung - Corporate Communications Manager

We are seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to join our team in Hamburg, Germany. The applicant will be responsible for operations related to our sponsoring engagements at business events and support the Chief Communications Officer in Marketing and PR measures related to our expansion in the German market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of communication strategies and marketing campaigns on a national level that align with our corporate objectives.

Planning, organizing and documentation of our attendance and visibility at business conferences
Research and monitoring of relevant events around the globe, with a focus on Germany
Managing relationships with external communication partners, such as event producers, associations and suppliers
Quality controlling before and during events
Managing and coordinating partners and clients
Planning and organizing Internal Events (workshops, team events)
Planning and organizing project trips, VIP meetings and first stone ceremonies
Booking of artists, speakers, flights, hotels and meetings
Social Media content creation
Promotional item research, concept development and management of production
Supporting our Country and Business units in Marketing and PR activities
Conduct research and analysis to support communication activities
Monitor and report the effectiveness of communication campaigns and make recommendations for improvements
Contribute to internal communication channels, such as intranet and internal newsletters
Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Communications Officer or Senior Communications Managers

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem solving skills and delivering operational support that elevates team performance within a fast-paced organization
Ability to identify and assess relevant events, media channels and partners
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle ambiguity with grace
Excellent communications, organizational and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of social media platforms and experience creating engaging content
Proficient in MS Office. Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
Fluent in English and German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
Portuguese, Spanish and/or Italian is a plus

Passion for renewable energy and sustainability
Proven track record in managing events, locations/hotels, suppliers and external service providers
Proven knowledge of communications and marketing ethics and best practices
Positive team player attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Flexibility and ability to work independently
Proactive

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Event Management, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
3+ years of experience in Corporate Communications, Marketing or a related field

Driver’s license and availability to travel
