At our Nuremberg location we are hiring a CRM Specialist (Salesforce) who will be responsible for accelerating platform uptake and helping users to get the most out of our digital tools. 


 


Job Purpose

Drive user adoption of digital platforms by offering expert CRM, training and sales‑process support, ensuring users can confidently utilize all digital tools available

Your Responsibilities:


  • Provide day‑to‑day Salesforce support to users, troubleshoot functional issues and assist with the creation of reports and dashboards to enable effective data analysis.

  • Translate business processes into system activities and configurations that save users time and streamline workflows.

  • Proactively identify and recommend platform enhancements to HQ; illustrate proposed improvements and how they would support sales processes.

  • Maintain data integrity by critically evaluating data, resolving discrepancies, and making informed decisions; keep dashboards up to date and communicate required data changes to users.

  • Conduct periodic market research to understand evolving customer expectations and feed insights into platform strategy.

  • Act as an internal champion for digital solutions across sales and marketing, encouraging platform use and adoption.

  • Liaise with external partners to identify simple, efficient and unified digital solutions that meet Murata’s needs.

  • Work with Legal to ensure all platform implementations comply with EMEA regulations (e.g., GDPR).

  • Document functional requirements in accordance with agreed processes.

  • Organise and run user acceptance testing (UAT) for proposed solutions, collect and consolidate user feedback, test in live environments and report issues to the relevant stakeholders.

Required Knowledge/Experience:


  • Bachelor's or Master degree in Business, combined with Computer Science or similar field of study

  • 1–3 years' practical experience in CRM administration, ideally with Salesforce 

  • Hands‑on experience assisting users with business applications and process execution   

  • Curious, open-minded and innovative mindset

  • General understanding of social media use and digital platform functionalit 

  • Good communication skills

  • Good knowledge of standard software (MS Office)

  • Intercultural competence

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Japanese is an advantage
