Job Purpose and Overview

As a Customer Service Officer (m/f/d) you will be the key interface between our customers, the Sales team, and various internal departments. Through your customer-focused approach, you will ensure that customer inquiries and orders are handled professionally and that our customers receive outstanding service at all times. You will work closely with colleagues from Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Quality Management, and Regulatory Affairs, playing an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is a permanent position within a dynamic and international working environment.

What will you do as a Customer Service Officer at Dawn Foods? 

• Manage customer orders from order entry through delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing.


• Review delivery options and inventory availability in close collaboration with relevant departments.


• Provide professional customer support and act as the primary contact for customer-related inquiries.


• Maintain customer master data, price lists, and other customer-related information within company systems.


• Prepare quotations, handle pricing inquiries, and coordinate product sample shipments.


• Process customer complaints and returns while coordinating effective solutions with the appropriate departments.


• Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Quality Management, and Regulatory Affairs, supporting customer-specific product projects.


• Contribute to international projects aimed at continuously improving our service processes and work with colleagues across other Dawn locations.

What does it take to be a Customer Service Officer at Dawn Foods?  

You are highly customer-oriented, organized, and able to maintain a clear overview even in a fast-paced environment. You communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and enjoy working cross-functionally.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Completed commercial vocational training or a bachelor's degree, along with ideally at least 3 years of experience in Customer Service.


• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP and CRM experience (ideally Salesforce) is an advantage.


• Strong customer and service orientation combined with excellent communication skills.


• Structured and organized working style with the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment.


• Ideally, experience within the food industry and/or knowledge of relevant quality and industry standards.
