For our Munich office, we are looking for a customer support engineer (f/m/d) in full time.

Responsibilities

Install and service cryostats at customer’s sites
Provide training and documentation for our products in a clear, professional, and customer-friendly manner
Handle enquiries and solve technical problems via phone, email, and on-site visits, maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure
Act as a point of contact to customers, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently while preserving positive relationships
Report technical and organizational issues, as well as opportunities, across the teams (engineering, production, product, sales)
Continuously monitor and improve customer satisfaction, balancing technical excellence with diplomatic communications

Requirements

You successfully completed a university degree (Master or PhD) in physics, quantum science & technology or similar
Experience with cryogenic equipment is beneficial
Willingness to travel internationally and manage extended hours when required
High emotional intelligence and good diplomatic skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Eagerness to learn about our products to address customer problems effectively
Ability to identify malfunctions, analyze root cause, and implement solutions quickly and calmly
Independent, patient, and confident in your work, with strong prioritization skills
Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and adapt to changing schedules as needed
Problem solving skills, under pressure, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Ability to stay calm, focused, and effective under pressure and in high-stakes situations
