Data Center Technician, Critical Infrastructure (f/m/d)

Your Role

• Providing technical support for planned servicing, reactive maintenance, fault-finding  


• Routine monitoring on a range of critical data center infrastructure and associated equipment


• Managing routine plant inspections, act as first line response


• Making sure that all work is carried out in line with relevant regulations and our own processes and procedures


• Working with third party vendors responsible for maintaining chilled water, air conditioning and ventilation systems


• Incident management; responsible for activating and executing Emergency Operating Procedures where necessary


• Smaller preventative maintenance tasks

Your Profile

• Recognised vocational training as an electrician; alternatively comparable technical training, authorised to perform low voltage switching


• Experience as a Building Services/Facilities Engineer in a similar, critical environment


• Relevant equipment experience, e.g. UPS, HVAC, generators, fire/life safety systems


• Proven knowledge of critical building infrastructure including electrical, mechanical and fabric


• Open to work in a 3-shift model, able to work independently and as part of a team


• Good working knowledge of German and English (written and spoken)
