Deep Learning Engineer

Our engineers own systems from end to end, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and exceptionally talented colleagues to develop and implement industry-leading models into our clients’ businesses.

As a deep learning engineer, you will work on the early-stage iteration of QuantCo’s AI products. You’ll be part of an exceptional team building cutting-edge applications of language and vision models, designed to be deployed at scale. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of these models, and consider not only the technical challenges to reach those goals but the scope of impact within our client base.

• MSc or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Natural Language Understanding or a related technical field
• Knowledge in productionising, i.e. debugging, optimising and deploying Deep Learning algorithmsStrong experience programming in Python
• Hands-on experience with deep learning algorithms, ideally within the following fields (as applied to either NLP or computer vision):
• Computer Vision - OCR engines (Optical Character Recognition), Object detectors (SSD, YOLO, etc.), Object classification (Vision Transformers, CNN, etc)
• Natural Language Processing  - Familiarity with Transformer-based Natural Language models in one of the fields of Topic Modelling, Intent Classification/ Information Extraction, or Question Answering, In Context Learning, RAG, advanced prompting. Graph Neural Networks
