To support our rapid growth, we are looking for a driven Director M&A (m/f/d).
You will lead our M&A efforts to success and play an important role in expanding Sanoptis’ presence in multiple European markets.
Strategy Development: Develop our M&A strategy, including the identification of acquisition and partnership opportunities, as well as strategies for transactions. You will execute market studies and market-entry strategies, contributing to our overall business development.
M&A Process Management & Deal-Making: Conceptualize and manage internal M&A processes such as scouting, the entire due diligence process, valuation, post-merger integration, as well as the systematic search, identification, and proactive initial contact of potential targets for M&A or partnering.
Legal Oversight: Manage the legal aspects of M&A transactions, working closely with internal and external legal counsel to ensure compliance, and to mitigate potential legal risks.
Financial Modeling: Closely supportthe creation and ongoing review of financial models.
Reporting: Prepare reports on the progress of M&A projects for C-level management and the board of directors to ensure compliance with financial and strategic goals.
Networking: Leveraging your network in the investment industry to identify new opportunities. You will travel to locations and potential targets frequently.
A dedicated and qualified M&A team in multiple countries (Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and other).
Senior employees and executives at Sanoptis, including the Chief Development Officer (Carsten Horn).
Sanoptis’ Management Board & C-Level.
External parties, such as lawyers, banks and service providers.
Renownedphysicians, includingsomeoftheleadingexperts and pioneers in thefieldof ophthalmology.
Extensive work experience in M&A and/or transaction services (e.g. in investment banking, private equity or the ‘Big Four’) or significant experience as a lawyer specializing in M&A transactions, ideally with experience in healthcare.
A passion for deal-making and ambition to drive the company’s growth with an entrepreneurial mindset.
The willingness to dive in and create strategic, as well as operational excellence within Sanoptis’ M&A. You need a strong hands-on mentality where you solve challenges practically and with a focus on results.
An understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape relevant to M&A transactions.
A proven track record of delivering outstanding performance in a fast-paced environment and the ability to create, present, and communicate business and financial analysis at executive level. You achieve these results by leveragingyour extensive knowledge in financial analysis and company valuations, as well as your strong analytical and conceptual skills. This includes a strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
An assertive, negotiation-savvy personality with strong communicationskills.
A toleranceforstressfulsituations and theabilitytostaycalmunderpressure.
Excellent English skills (C1 or above). Other language skills (such as German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Czechor other) are a plus.
A high willingnesstotravel.
