We are currently looking for Director of Marketing & PR, Germany, the details Job responsibilities as below:

Who You Are:
We are establishing the Marketing & PR function of our Germany National Sales Company (NSC) and seek an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Director of Marketing & PR to build and lead this function from the ground up. This role holds full responsibility for brand development, marketing strategy, media planning, and public relations in Germany. The objective is to significantly increase nationwide, regional, and local brand awareness, consideration, and reputation of GAC Motor. The successful candidate will define and implement a comprehensive marketing funnel, ensuring measurable conversion, continuous optimization, and strong alignment with sales and dealer operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing & PR Strategy and Setup
   - Define and implement the overall marketing and PR strategy for the German NSC.
   - Establish organizational structures, processes, and governance for all marketing functions.
   - Ensure alignment with European Regional Centre and global brand strategy.
   - Build a strong brand positioning and narrative for GAC in Germany.

2. Brand Management and Market Positioning
   - Develop and manage brand identity, messaging, and guidelines.
   - Track brand performance and awareness through defined KPIs.
   - Drive initiatives to improve brand perception and reputation.
   - Conduct continuous market research and competitive analysis.

3. Marketing Planning and Budget Control
   - Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning, including dealer co-marketing plans.
   - Develop, manage, and track marketing budgets with strong ROI focus.
   - Define KPIs and ensure performance tracking and reporting.
   - Optimize spending efficiency continuously.

4. Media Planning and Digital Marketing
   - Develop and execute integrated media strategies across all channels.
   - Oversee digital marketing activities including SEO/SEM and performance marketing.
   - Drive social media strategy, content planning, and community growth.
   - Manage agencies and external partners through structured tender processes.

5. PR, Communications and Media Relations
   - Define and execute strategic PR plans to increase brand reputation.
   - Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive journalists and media.
   - Oversee press releases, media events, and press fleet (media cars).
   - Manage crisis communication and corporate messaging.

6. Experiential, Retail and Dealer Marketing
   - Plan and execute test drive events, exhibitions, and motor shows.
   - Lead experience marketing initiatives and customer engagement programs.
   - Support dealer marketing activities including local campaigns.
   - Develop marketing training programs for dealer networks.

7. Marketing Operations and Performance Management
   - Define and implement a clear marketing funnel with measurable conversion rates.
   - Ensure data-driven marketing performance tracking and continuous optimization.
   - Implement dashboards and reporting structures.
   - Drive continuous improvement of marketing effectiveness.

8. Partnerships and Stakeholder Management
   - Select and manage marketing agencies, media partners, and KOLs.
   - Lead tender processes and contract negotiations.
   - Collaborate closely with sales, product, and regional teams.
   - Ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

What You Bring:

• University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing and PR, preferably in the automotive industry.

• Proven leadership experience in building and managing marketing organizations.

• Strong track record in brand building, media strategy, and PR execution.

• Experience in launching brands or working in fast-growing environments is highly preferred.

• Native or fluent German and fluent English required.

• Deep understanding of the automotive media landscape in Germany.

• Strong analytical, data-driven, and performance marketing mindset.

• Excellent stakeholder and project management skills.

• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
