Emons Group is in search of an enthusiastic, self-motivated International Driver DE. The ideal candidate should be an efficient and experienced commercial driver with outstanding ability to make international trips conveying goods from one location to another.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre and post-trip inspections of vehicle, ensuring that the goods to be conveyed are properly and securely loaded, and the vehicle is in good running shape.
• Safely transport goods to various international locations strictly adhering to driving regulations and Emons Group's driving policy.
• Update all necessary records and paperwork including mileage, routes taken, goods conveyed, incidents, and accidents.
• Perform necessary troubleshooting and minor repairs such as changing tires, fixing minor malfunctions, and maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the truck's cab.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, service centres, and relevant stakeholders about any delays, traffic disruptions, or any issue encountered during transit.
• Act as an ambassador for the company maintaining a positive image and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Driver’s license DE with sound understanding of driving regulations for international travel.
• Previous professional experience in a similar role is desirable, ideally in an international logistics company.
• Proven ability to drive long distances and navigate routes efficiently.
• Excellent knowledge of vehicle troubleshooting, handling minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the company effectively in different environments and situations.
• Must be in good physical condition to handle the demands of long-distance driving and handling goods.
• Good record-keeping abilities with strong attention to details.
