Your tasks

Project management of multilingual book publications on topics from the fields of art, architecture, design, film, photography, and pop culture, from budget and schedule preparation to printing.
Timely and efficient revision of titles for new editions.
Reprint coordination of our extensive backlist catalogue.
Close collaboration with international authors, translators, freelancers, typesetters, designers, museums, picture agencies and printers in Germany and abroad.
Clarification of image, text and artist rights, as well as image procurement.
Internal coordination with the graphics and production departments.

Your profile

Strong interest in and knowledge in editorial tasks, as well as art, art history, photography, architecture, design, pop culture, travel, and fashion – the foundations of our publishing program.
Completed studies (BA or MA) in Humanities, Book Studies, Languages or similar.
Proven experience in project management within the publishing industry.
Confident with Microsoft Office, databases, Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign.
Organizational talent with an eye for detail and strong sense of precision.
Enjoy working with language and perfect knowledge of spelling and grammar.
Proficiency in excellent written and spoken German and English, any other language is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Independent, structured and team-oriented way of working and strong interpersonal skills.
Open-mindedness and a passion for the range of our program.
