Why We’re Different?

Our Project Dawn is our flagship initiative, setting the foundation to scale our technology and remove CO₂ from the atmosphere. Your Mission at Phlair

• Design & Engineer Power Systems: Work with CTO Paul to design and engineer Power Systems for our commercial DAC plant.

• Develop Adaptive Control Systems: Collaborate with Process and Control Engineers to develop adaptive control systems.

• Coordinate with Teams: Work with EPC contractors and internal engineering teams on all Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control topics.

What You Bring to the Team

• Background: Degree in Electrical and/or Power Engineering.

• Experience: Hands-on experience with grid-scale power systems.

• Power Electronics Knowledge: Deep understanding of inverters, converters, and other power electronics components.

• Modelling & Simulation: Skilled in modelling and simulating power systems, including control loops and dynamic load responses.

Essential Traits

• Collaborative Communicator: You communicate complex technical concepts clearly in both German and English.

• Problem-Solver: You excel at simplifying complex systems and bringing structure to chaos.

Great to have, but optional

• Experience with engineering and optimization of Power-to-X systems.

• Knowledge of designing, engineering, and optimizing complex control algorithms for real-world systems.

How we work at Phlair

• Onsite & Collaborative: Our offices in Ismaning, Germany, house our pilot plant, where we work physically on our product every day. The team collaborates closely in the office, five days a week.

• Main Hub & Expansion: Our primary location is in Munich (Ismaning), Germany, and we’re launching our Edmonton, Canada team in late 2025/2026.
