Electrical Technician (f/m/x)

• Building Electrical Cabinets for our Power and Control Systems

• Assembling harnesses when needed to integrate key sub-systems in our plant, including power and communication

• Verifying the the assembly of the electrical cabling in the plant and using various software tools for functional testing

• Able to use MES, PLM systems for pulling wiring schematics and other engineering documents to support your execution

Your first 12 months in the role: expectations and deliverables
Months 0-3

• Get familiar with our plants

• Execute electrical assemblies with clear procedures

• Support by creation of procedures in order to make assembly easier

• Able to work with our MES system, belonging to the technician role

Months 3-6

• Make suggestions to improve testing methods

• Review created procedures and raise things, that don’t fit in reallity

• Support in the assembly and commissioning at customer sites
• Go to expert in harnessing

Months 6-12

• Plan work load and define how long which task will take

• Make suggestions, how electrical assembly can be optimized

• Go to expert in electrical cabinet assembly

• Deep electrical knowledge, like training ("Ausbildung") or something comparable

• Knowledge in electrical testing 

• One year or more work experience as electrician 

• Experience in working with MES system, ideal ION

• English for daily use

• 30 days vacation plus public holidays to ensure you also have the down time needed to rest and recharge.

This role cannot be done remotely. We require someone who lives within commuting distance to Essen or is open to relocate which we are happy to support.
