Embedded Systems Engineer

Our client, a leading global multinational information technology services and consulting company, is recruiting a Embedded Systems Engineer to join their business in Germany.

Responsibilities:

• Software technical coding, update and documentation according to DO -178

• Hardware development incl. documentation according to DO -254

• Onsite coordination of suppliers

Main Activities:

• Write and review documents/specifications according to DO -178b and DO -254 Level D in all phases of the life cycle, i.e., from requirements to design to test cases and reports.

• Write and review of Software/Hardware requirements, architecture and implementation

• Update coding with programming language: Embedded C/ ANSI -C99

• PCB Design in Eagle/Altium

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Software: Experience in

  • Embedded software implementation,

  • Verification and validation, and

  • Documentation according to DO -178 level D

• Hardware: Experience in

  • Embedded hardware development, layout, design, simulation,

  • Verification and validation incl EMV -Debugging, and

  • Documentation

  • According to DO -254 level D and DO -160

• Profound knowledge of DO -178, DO -254, DO -160

• Knowledge of used programming language: Embedded C/ ANSI -C99

• Knowledge of PCB development in Eagle/Altium

• Knowledge of used microcontrollers and protocols:

  • STM Cortex -M4 / TI Cortex -R4

  • CAN Communication

  • Embedded systems interfaces such as I2C, SPI, SCP and UART

  • ARINC -812A

  • NFC

• Experience in Airbus Methodologies

• Ability to manage Work package

Additional optional requirements:

• Knowledge of internal tool set: SVN, codeBeamer, Atollic Studio, Embedded Wizard, Redmine, LTSpice

SOFT SKILLS:

• English and German (added advantage)

• Proactive and Quick learner

• Good communication skills

• Problem solver and Flexible
