Basics

We are seeking a highly qualified Equine Surgeon (m/f/d) to join our professional and dynamic team.

Your key responsibilities are:

Perform a wide range of surgical procedures
Carry out orthopedic appointments
Diagnose and treat equine patients, developing tailored treatment plans
Collaborate with our veterinary team of specialists to ensure the highest standards of care
Participate in emergency on-call services as needed
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and interns
Engage in continuing education and stay updated on the latest advancements in equine surgery

Your qualification:

Board certification in equine surgery (ECVS/ACVS) or equivalent qualification
Completed residency program in equine/ large animal surgery
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
A compassionate approach to patient care and client communication
Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus
