Expert Application Engineering & F&E P&I (m/f/d)

Your role and responsibilities

• Support of the innovation pipeline and implementation of product rollouts within the P&I portfolio


• Contribution to innovation projects, including the independent management of selected projects


• Planning, execution, and evaluation of laboratory and production trials


• Technical support for customers as well as internal production sites


• Monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating trends in materials, machinery, and sustainability


• Close cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and Supply Chain


• Support in training activities as well as topics related to Intellectual Property (IP) and patents

Your profile and qualifications

• Degree in Plastics Engineering, Chemistry, Process Engineering, Packaging Technology, or a comparable field


• At least 6 years of professional experience in Research & Development within the packaging industry


• Solid experience with extrusion technologies, ideally in blown film and preferably with knowledge of MDO technology


• Deep expertise in polyolefins


• Very good written and spoken German and English skills


• A self-driven, assertive, and team-oriented personality


• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%
