Expert Electronics Software (m/f/d)

These are your tasks:

• Definition of software properties and documentation of specifications


• Developing the design of software systems based on the requirements


• Implementation of the design in software components


• Testing software components and integrating them into the overall software system


• Conducting research, selecting and configuring operating systems and various modules


• Participation in the strategic planning and implementation of methods and processes


• Supporting project work and taking responsibility for project documentation within the project team and the steering committee


• Coordinating project requirements and development processes


• Ensuring project documentation in accordance with LEONI processes


• Maintaining a high level of knowledge about the technical status quo and the IP (Intellectual Property) situation of the relevant hardware solutions


• Technical leadership of the team members


• Definition of standards regarding release and use of relevant tools


• Summarizing development results and passing on findings and optimization steps to internal and external customers


• Supporting and advising sales and product development on new tenders and technology selection

What you bring with you:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or a comparable degree


• Programming experience in the embedded environment in the programming language C or C++


• Experience in the areas of automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN), AUTOSAR and associated tools and vehicle diagnostics (UDS, ODX)


• Knowledge of hardware


• Practiced use of common tools such as PTC Integrity or Doors, Vector CANoe


• Experience in the area of systematic procedures (V-model and SPICE), agile procedures as well as analytical understanding and the ability to work in a team


• Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) is an advantage


• Very good knowledge of German and English
