Expert Field Service Engineer

Medicaroid is seeking an experienced Expert Field Service Engineer. As an Expert Field Service Engineer at Medicaroid, you will support customers as professionals of Medicaroid products, and be responsible for the installation, support, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of all our products. In the future, you will be involved in customer support when launching services not only in Germany but also in other EU countries. You have in-depth knowledge of hinotori systems (mechanical, electrical and robotics) and use your Field Service experience. Correctly report the cause of the incident, analyze the problem, and report or document the results in data format. You also manage and improve internal equipment to maintain a better environment.

• Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues efficiently, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Solid time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to Travel up to 70% and within the travel and expense policy as required by management to fulfill the specific needs of the role.
• Complete all administrative tasks in the required time frame
• Provide technical support to end-users and other Medicaroid employees
• Perform various scheduled maintenance activities such as system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, system recalls, field actions, and upgrades
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all Medicaroid products and associated equipment in accordance with procedures and within designated timeframes
• Keep informed of and maintain proficiency with all company products.
• Support for various internal improvements.

• Bachelor's degree (Engineering/Science) or equivalent training/experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as Field Service Engineer with Medical device.
• Experience working in an ISO 13485 certified environment
• Excellent administrative and record-keeping skills.
• Willingness to perform ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
• Good writing and presentation skills including a strong sense of self-confidence.
• Motivation of learning new devices and new fields.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent German (native speaker equivalent) and excellent English skills.

Working conditions:

• Capable of working in a hands-on technical environment, including occasional lifting and movement of equipment
• Clean driving record and Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned region (approx. 70-80%).

• Ability to obtain and maintain Vendor Credentialing approval for access to operating rooms.
• Compliance with all necessary vaccination requirements as mandated by the vendor credentialing process.
