We work tirelessly to earn the trust of our customers, because we know that working closely together leads to the highest quality outcomes. \n\nThe ideal candidate can be based in one of Lam\u0027s main customer focused offices in Europe - Dresden (Germany), Meylan (France) or Agrate (Italy).\n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAt Lam, as a Field Process Engineer you are a customer-focused expert on our equipment, pushing the boundaries to meet customer needs. You\u2019re responsible for completing process support, evaluation, and documentation of process outputs for hardware modifications and upgrades. You play a vital role in supporting the customer in installations, training, and identifying design improvements with product groups. In this role, you will directly contribute to the success of our customers in EMEA region.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Provide process support, installation, resolve and improve process/system/productivity, and develop processes of new applications of Lam equipment at customer sites.\n * Complete Design of Experiments (DOE) evaluations to characterize process window for new installations or recommended field hardware modifications.\n * Design and conduct experiments, collect data, analyze results, generate reports, and provide recommendations.\n * Develop new processes for small variants to existing customer applications.\n * Performs equipment process qualifications.\n * Performs application related Project Management, including planning, defining problems and objectives, developing an approach, and providing recommendations.\n * Collaborates with cross-functional teams and customers to understand their needs, technology roadmaps, process flow, requirements, and business challenges.\n * Represent Lam to our valued customers and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.\n * Present technical and marketing materials with a win-win mindset to keep customers informed about products and services to address their needs.\n * Provide technical instruction and mentoring for more junior engineers.\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * PhD; or Masters of Science with 3+ years of relevant work experience; or Bachelors of Science with 5+ years of work experience in Chemistry, Physics, or Material Science, or related field\n * Experience in Plating/Electro-fill processes.\n * Proficiency in computer applications, including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.\n * Excellent communication, written and verbal, and customer relationship skills.\n * Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, wearing personal protective safety equipment, or cleanroom suit, and on-call if needed.\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).\n * Foundational analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.\n * Experience in Continues improvement projects activities, e.g. defect reduction\n * Data Science, MATH capabilities\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\n \n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
